Dave Turner's original piano rock has flavors of pop, Americana, jazz & blues. He delivers strong melodies and soul-searching lyrics with a powerful voice. Home is Asheville, NC.
Dave performs solo and in a variety of band formats. He began playing the piano at age seven and has written songs since grade school. Enamored by the piano for as long as he can remember, he was inspired early by Elton John. He is a prolific writer of words and music, plays the piano with power and passion, and has a strong, soulful voice.
In fall 2007, Dave was one of eight finalists selected from across the United States in the North Carolina Songwriters Co-op 10th Annual Song Contest.
